Stephanie grew up in West Flanders, the Belgian province where France, Wallonia and Flanders come together and complement each other perfectly.
She obtained a master’s degree in translation from the HIVT translation and interpreting institute in Antwerp in 2000, going on to perfect her French and Italian for a year at the University of Bologna via the Erasmus exchange programme.
She then worked for six years for a telecommunications company in Brussels, which brought her into daily contact with clients from all over Europe. In 2007, she moved to northern France and in 2012 she decided to begin working as a freelance translator. She later followed her heart to Naples, where she now lives from her passion: translate from Italian and French to Dutch.
