Professional Translation Rates

BeTranslated offers affordable rates that are calculated according to the number of words to be translated (called the “source text”), the requested turnaround time, subject area, and time of year. Our per-word prices vary from £0.10 to £0.16, with most projects being charged at £0.12 for volumes of more than 2,000 words. Our rates reflect our experience in, and respect for the services we provide, as well as our insistence on working with senior translators, alongside the result that we offer clients great value for money.

To provide you with a reliable and accurate quote, we kindly request that you send us as much information as possible regarding your requirements such as deadline, source and target languages, the format of the documents, and of course, the text to be translated. The cost of a translation depends on various factors, the most significant being the length of the text for translation (i.e. the number of words) and the language pair combination.

The price of a translation can vary substantially according to its subject. The more specific and technical the terminology in a text, the higher the translation rates. Translating a complicated scientific article may well cost more than translating a text for the tourism sector.
